Collective Efficacy:
What evidence do you have that supports the notion that "ALL students will be successful simply because they are a LEADER at Seven Hills Elementary?" After today's intentional planning, data dives, and vertical conversations, what evidence do you anticipate we will have in May?
Every student has leadership qualities and talents and its importance to help every student find their voice and to use it.
ReplyDeleteStudents have taken ownership of their WIGS. They set their goals, track their own progress, and celebrate success with teachers, peers, and parents.
ReplyDeleteI believe the purposeful direction our campus is taking to teach the whole student will make a difference...a permanent difference!
ReplyDeleteI believe that all students will show improvement and reach their goals with their wigs. I also believe that all students will increase at least one years growth in literacy by the end of the year.
ReplyDeleteI believe all students are given new chances and new opportunities every day, when it comes to their learning. I believe students who take ownership of their learning with have significant achievement and who a year's growth.

ReplyDeleteWe are working together towards our common goal: that all students will meet or exceed end of year expectations. Our planning is focused on those reading goals of our students. We had a data dive and planned Shine Time to meet student's needs. I believe that because we are focused and the students are driven to meet their goals, we will see growth and student success.
ReplyDeleteThe students taking ownership of their WIGS has had a positive impact on their learning. They are excited each time we move up levels in group and are consistently wanting to change their books in their browsing boxes to match their new levels. They are taking charge of their learning.
ReplyDeleteI anticipate that the students will meet or exceed their EOY goal.
Students' ownership of where they are and where they need to go help them determine action steps of how they can get there. We discuss as a class team how we can help each other reach our goals.
ReplyDeleteIn May I believe that we will see students taking ownership of their goals that we have worked together to set. Our purposeful planning with the students will ensure their success of meeting their goals and we will share in their excitement to show their peers and parents!

ReplyDeleteI believe that every student is successful because each student is tracking his/her own progress and becomes very proud of his/her growth. They take complete ownership of their learning and know that their teachers are also working with them to reach their goals. Teacher-student relationship continues to support these goals.
ReplyDeleteStudents take ownership of their learning when following their WIGs and data trackers. They are inspired when they see the physical/tactile movement of their growth. They strive to do better for themselves and are proud of their work as well.
ReplyDeleteThis year, all of my students are demonstrating the ability to be responsible and participate in their own learning, track their WIGS independently, and know where they are academically.

ReplyDeleteBY students taking ownership of their learning via WIGS and goal setting, students will show growth in academics but in maturity as well. Teaching them to take ownership of their learning and pride in their work is also teaching them maturity.
ReplyDeleteStudents take ownership of their learning when they take control - students are able to see their CBA/Benchmark results and they track them appropriately. They also work on their WIGs and have been seeing progress!
ReplyDeleteAll students are working towards their WIGS. This lets them see their own growth and take ownership in what they are learning. They love it when they accomplished a WIG! :)
ReplyDeleteIf you tell someone something enough times they will begin to believe it. If you continually tell a student they are a leader, they will become a leader.
